Shadow Puppet Show

Maybe groundhogs wouldn’t be afraid of their shadows if they played fun games like conducting shadow puppet shows!

Shadow Puppets

What you’ll need:
Cardboard
Popsicle sticks
Tape or glue
Scissors
A blank wall or sheet
Flashlight

Help your child to create fun puppets by cutting their favorite shapes or animals in the cardboard. Then attach a popsicle stick to each cardboard figure with tape or glue.  Create your stage area with a blank wall or sheet as the backdrop.  Angle the flashlight from above your little performer and tell them to move the puppets between the light and the wall.  Then have fun acting out stories with your little puppeteers!
